Dynasty Warriors Producer Akihiro Suzuki mentions that he’s sorry that he could not provide any new information in 2019, but 2020 is a special year due to the 20th anniversary of the Dynasty Warriors series. There will be many events that will please the fans and announcements of new information related to games.

Team Ninja president Yosuke Hayashi says that NiOh 2 will be released in March, but other games will also be announced. A new era will begin with the release of PS5, and Hayashi-san would like to provide a game worthy of that era.

NiOh 2 producer Fumihiko Yasuda mentions that he’d first like to complete NiOh 2 and its DLC (which I guess we can take as a semi-confirmation that there will be DLC for the game) while preparing for the next generation. He also believes that Team Ninja needs to be rejuvenated, so a relevant goal is to grow the next generation of directors and developers.

Speaking of NiOh 2, it will release (at least for now) exclusively for PS4 on March 13, 2020. If you want to learn more, you can enjoy a recent gallery of screenshots.

Proud weeb hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long-standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
