As promised a couple of days ago, Square Enix just released a brand new trailer of its upcoming JRPG Kingdom Hearts III.

The trailer looks definitely awesome (but all Kingdom Hearts III trailers pretty much do, so this won’t be a surprise), and shows the opening cutscene of the game. It will also bring back memories for veterans of the series.

We get both the English and the Japanese version, featuring theme song Face My Fears performed by Hikaru Utada and arranged by Skrillex in different languages.

You can check it out below, and see if it gets your heart beating faster in anticipation of the upcoming release.

Speaking of Kingdom Hearts III  trailers, Amazon’s recent promise of another one pretty much misfired, but for all we know, it might be this one and we just got to see it later. On the other hand, we got some new artwork featuring Kairi a few days ago.

Another thirty-second video will be released on Dec. 16 and the “Final” trailer will come on the 18. Three fifteen-second commercials will appear on the 21st to conclude a month of new Kingdom Hearts III footage.

Kingdom Hearts III will finally be released on PS4 and Xbox first in Japan on January 25th. Western gamers in North America and Europe won’t have much longer to wait in order to play the game, as it will launch on this side of the Pacific Ocean on January 29th.
