The video showcases the new track, named Tokyo Expressway South Loop. FIA Gran Turismo Champion Igor Fraga is the one at the wheel, showing his fastest lap on the winding tarmac around the famous Wangan.

We also already know that the upcoming update will bring seven new cars including the iconic Ferrari F50, the McLaren P1 GTR, the Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am, and more.

You can check out the video below, and see if it gets you pumped for some Tokyo driving.

We’ll probably hear about the rest of the contents of the update over the next few days. We’re likely to get more events for GT League mode and a few more goodies.

Polyphony Digital has been very active in updating Gran Turismo Sport since its release a year ago. While the game proved quite divisive at launch, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s first-party racing studio has certainly shown that it still has its touch over time

Gran Turismo Sport is currently available for PS4. If you want to know more about the game, you can read our review.
