Today, Bandai Namco released a brand new trailer of its upcoming JRPG God Eater 3.
The trailer focuses on the story, starting with the childhood of the protagonist, his transformation into an Adaptive God Eater, and quite a few characters, including the mysterious little girl named Phym.
In particular, Phym will be fundamental for fulfilling the hero’s destiny, on top of being the usual token anime little girl with super-special powers who always appear within the cast of every JRPG, ever.
God Eater 3 will tell the story of a group of Adaptive God Eaters after Fenrir has been basically destroyed by a new and mysterious phenomenon named the “Ash.” Humanity is confined in towns named “ports,” with Caravans braving the Ashlands to keep communication and trade alive against all offs. Basically, it’s post-apocalyptic post-apocalypse.
You can check out the trailer below, both in English and in Japanese, if you prefer the original voice track.
If you want to see more about God Eater 3, you can also check out a recent TV Spot, and a recent gallery of screenshots.
God Eater 3Â will release for PS4 and PC on December 13th in Japan. As mentioned above, North American and European players will have to wait a little longer and will be able to purchase the game on February 8th.
