Gears Tactics Gets First Screenshots Showing Gameplay, Characters, and Customization

Following the Gears Tactics reveal at The Game Awards, microsoft released a press kit with the first screenshots of the game.

We take a look at some of the characters Gabe, Sid, and Mikayla, on top of the main antagonist Ukkon. 

On top of that, we also see some gameplay screenshots including turn-based tactics, the customization screen, and a boss battle against a massive enemy.

You can check them out below, an see if they get you excited to play this Gears of War version of the classic Xcom formula.

The game is seveloped by The Coalition and Splash Damage and the story is set twelve years before the original Gears of War. 

Players will take on the role of survivors from Sera as they try to take down Ukkon, a villain creating monsters.

The campaign will include over 40 hours of gameplay, which is certainly a nice amount. 

Incidentally, we also hear that those who pre-order the game will receive Augustus Cole as a recruitable character and the Thrashball Armor Set. 

Gears Tactics will come to PC (both via the Windows Store and Steam) on April 28, 2020. It’ll even be available on the same day via the PC version of the Xbox Game Pass.
