Recently, they released on Twitter a couple of clips with Producer Yoshinori Kitase as he talks about the process behind the game.

First of all, we get a clip in which he explains how the team went about adding depth to the story, including details from Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII.

In the second clip, Kitase-san explains in detail how summons work in the game. It’s certainly very different from what we remember happening in the original Final Fantasy VII, yet, it’s no less exciting.

If you’d like to see and learn more about the game, you can check out the previous video from a few days before, alongside a few additional assets, a charming TV commercal mixing live-action and a nostalgic feel, the latest trailer, the western box art for the game, plenty of beautiful screrenshots, and recent gameplay with the reveal of the Classic Mode.

The first game of the Final Fantasy VII Remake will launch on PS4 on March 3, 2020. No other platforms have been announced so far.
