Fate/Grand Order Bringing Back PSP Classic Fate/EXTRA CCC with New Event

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Most probably don’t know Fate/EXTRA CCC, likely because it has never been released in the west. Yet, at least some bits of it are finally coming in Fate/Grand Order.

A new event for the popular mobile game has been announced and it’s coming soon to the western servers, titled “Fate/EXTRA CCC x Fate/Grand Order Special Event. BB Strikes Back, Let’s meet in the digital sea!” Yes. That’s a mouthful.

It even got a dedicated trailer, which you can enjoy at the bottom of the post. It will include EXTRA CCC’s demonic AI BB as a four-star character with 8,197 maximum attack and 13,643 maximum HP.

If you’re unfamiliar with EXTRA CCC, it’s a JRPG released for PlayStation Portable in 2013 in Japan, and never localized in English, co-developed by Image Epoch and TYPE-MOON. Since most of us missed it, it’s nice to be able to enjoy it in some form.

Incidentally, the event is going to have a spring vacation resort theme, which is always a bonus.

If you’re interested in Fate/Grand Order, you can check out the upcoming Elizabeth Bathory Brave Version Figure by quesQ, and the Ozymandias figure from MegaHouse.

The game’s developer Dlightworks has also recently teased a new game made in Unreal Engine 4. What we have seen is intriguing, but we haven’t seen enough to have the slightest idea of what it’ll be about.
