Dragonball Z - Ford Fusion

Latest Dragonball Z/Ford Crossover Features a Powerful Fusion

Okay, but is this Fusion powerful enough to defeat Majin Buu?

In a bizarre turn of events, the Ford Motor Company recently began running advertisements for their current car line-up in conjunction with the mega-popular action anime, Dragonball Z. Everyone just assumed their Ford Focus ad was a one-off joke of sorts, but now they’ve released a follow-up for the Ford Fusion. If you’re any kind of Dragonball Z fan, you can probably already guess where this is going.

While the first ad showed Krillin wishing for a top-notch automobile that resulted in the Namekian dragon Porunga granting him a Ford Focus, this time around Goten and Trunks perform a fusion dance and reappear as – yep, you guessed it – a Ford Fusion. The whole thing is groan-worthy, yet strangely wonderful.

What do you think of this unexpected partnership? Is it nice to see a 26-year old anime getting more public attention through Ford, or do you feel like the ads have tainted Dragonball Z somewhat? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
