Today, during the Xbox Games Showcase, Square Enix announced that Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition will come to Xbox platforms.
The game will launch for Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass and Windows 10 on December 4.
Update: following the announcement, Square Enix revealed that the Definitive Edition is also coming to PS4 and Steam.
If you’re wondering, it’s the same version of the game launched on Nintendo Switch, at least content-wise.

Story
A young man, about to participate in his village’s coming of age ceremony, travels to a Sacred Stone alongside his childhood friend. The game has shipped 5.5 million copies across PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam as of December 2019.
