Today Square Enix announced an upcoming broadcast dedicated to Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken (The adventure of Dai).
The livestream will be hosted on the channel of the Japanese magazine VJump on May 27 at 8:00 pm Japan time.
Incidentally, May 27 is a date with a special meaning, as it’s the 34th anniversary of the release of the original Dragon Quest in 1986.
The broadcast will deliver information on the upcoming anime (scheduled for the fall of 2020) including the voice actors, on top of news on the game that will be based on the anime itself, which was originally announced back in December 2019.
At the moment, no specific information has been provided about the game and its platforms remain mysterious even if remarks made in passing during the announcement made it sounds like a possible console title.
You can find the livestream embedded below. Of course, you can expect full coverage here on Twinfinite when the broadcast airs on May 27.

Do keep in mind that the screenshot above is from the teaser trailer that announced the anime, and not from the game, of which Square Enix did not show any image just yet.
