The game will launch in Japan exclusively for PS4 (at least for now) on February 13, 2019.

We also get to see some new characters, namely Betty and Sara, two girls living in the dormitory that serves as a setting for the game, on top of the manager, who is also a sistter at the local church.

And yes, she’s 45 years old, if you can believe it. Her description explicitly mentions that she looks young for her age, and she certainly does.

The last character introduced is her daughter’s avatar form on the net, who goes by the nickname “Rotten Dollheart.”

Interestingly, the battle system is receiving a bit of a twist. With each turn you can choose three different actions including ayyack, item, guard, and skill. This allows a more strategic approach within each turn.

Last, but not least, we get to see the battle skills of the protagonist Mai Higashiyama, Rotten Dollheart herself, and the other playable character Liliana Piata.

You can check out all the screenshots below.

Compile Heart revealed Death End re;Quest 2 a few months ago after teasing it for a few days and it’s the sequel to Death End re;Quest, which has recently been released in the west for PS4 and PC.
