Dead Cells Has Sold Over 2 Million Copies; Rise of the Giant out on Switch and PS4

Motion Twin, the developers behind the roguelike action game, Dead Cells, has announced that the game has sold over 2 million copies since launching just last year.

Motion Twin has also released DLC and a new update today on Switch and PS4 titled ‘Rise of the Giant‘ that brings in a ton of new features to the game. The Xbox One version of the game will get the update soon according to the developers.

If you’ve beaten Dead Cells at least once, you will then have access to the Cavern, which is host to a new environment filled with treacherous traps, new enemies, and a never-before-seen boss.

There is also a new skinning system that allows players to customize their character thanks to 50 new outfits, letting you die over and over again, but in style. If you want to take a look at all of the patch notes, you can read that here.

To celebrate the milestone, Dead Cells is now available at a 20% discount across the Nintendo Switch eShop, the PlayStation Store, and the Microsoft store.
