Dead by Daylight Adding New “Iconic” License to Celebrate 4th Anniversary

Behaviour Interactive has today announced its plan to celebrate the 4th anniversary of its popular asymmetrical 4v1 game Dead by Daylight with a livestream on May 26 at 2 PM EST, which is set to reveal a “jaw-dropping” 16th new chapter for the game.

A press release sent to Twinfinite today explains that the development team has kept busy during the COVID-19 lockdown and is excited to breakdown what’s coming next for Dead by Daylight.

The upcoming new chapter will feature a classic license, one that is said to have marked the world of horror since its inception. Of course, it will feature a new map, a terrifying new killer and a mysterious survivor.

Mathieu Côté, game director on Dead by Daylight and product evangelist for Behaviour Interactive said of today’s news:

“We are quite excited to celebrate another amazing year in the history of Dead by Daylight.

The game is always changing, always improving. We’ve brought you a lot of really cool stuff this year and next year will be even more intense. This last chapter is a very emotional milestone for us and we cannot wait to share it with you. Come join us as we celebrate year 4 of Dead by Daylight!”

Dead by Daylight boasts more than 20 million players globally across all platforms. The mobile version of the game hit 1 million players in just 48 hours after its launch and has since passed the 2 million mark.
