The clip showcases Mirai, including her English voice. She’s definitely one of the driving characters of the story, being the sister of the protagonist Rei.

You can check her out below.

“Mirai is Rei’s sister whom Rei accidentally attacks when they are dragged into Purgatory. It is up to Rei to revive Mirai no matter what the cost. Find out if Rei succeeds in Crystar!”

Here’s how the developer describes Crystar, which will release for Nintendo Switch on March 29, 2022. (following the Japanese release on Feb. 23). It’s already available for PS4 and PC, originally published by Spike Chunsoft.

“I’m sorry Mirai, I’m going to take responsibility for killing you…I will bring you Revival.”

Rei and Mirai are sisters suddenly dragged into a mysterious world known as Purgatory. Rei discovers a hidden power allowing her to fight against the otherworldly monsters, but loses control and accidentally kills her sister Mirai. Crystar tells the story of Rei’s journey to atone and battle to bring Mirai back to life. This action RPG showcases its unique narrative through the use of four playable characters, each with their own special Guardian, as well as the use of the Tear Gauge and Torments.

It is with tears shed that you will revive the dead.”
