While today Sega announced Catherine Classic for PC, there is also an update for the upcoming remake Catherine: Full Body.
The official western website has been updated listing PS4 as the sole platform for the game, and while there is no release date it does say “Coming Soon.”
A further detail comes with Sega’s official press release, which mentions that the western release of the game will follow soon after the Japanese one on Valentine’s day.
“The original version of ATLUS’ classic action-adventure puzzler is available now for the first time on PC, ahead of the Catherine™ Full Body release on February 14th on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan, with a Western Full Body release soon to follow.”
This certainly makes sense, considering that Catherine: Full Body adds new story elements, but most of the localization of the game was already done for the original release on PS3 and Xbox 360.
Of course, the lack of any other platform on the website doesn’t necessarily mean that Atlus can’t announce more down the line, but it’s at least pretty much a confirmation that it won’t come for PS Vita. This possibly won’t surprise anybody nowadays.
Last, but not least, below you can find two formats for the game’s main artwork. They’ll probably be useful as lovely mobile wallpapers.
While we wait for more information, you can check out a new batch of screenshots released yesterday on Famitsu, a video showcasing the soundtrack and one featuring competitive multiplayer.
We’re waiting for a “special Catherine: Full Body announcement” coming tomorrow. That being said, this may just be an official release of the DLC news included in yesterday’s Famitsu article. We’ll see in a few hours.
