If you’re a fan of Star Wars and Fortnite, hold onto your butts as a special festive crossover event has just kicked off and it may be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
Yes, the one and only Boba Fett – that galaxy far, far away’s infamous bounty hunter – is now a playable character in Fortnite, just in time for the fast-approaching release of Disney+’s exclusive The Book of Boba Fett TV series on 29 Dec.
The news comes by way of a blog post on Epic Games’ official Fortnite blog. Go ahead and check out a rundown of all the new Star Wars-themed gear you can net in the popular battle royale down below:
Once regarded as one of the most fearsome and capable bounty hunters in the galaxy, Boba Fett seemingly met his demise in the Sarlacc pit on Tatooine. Fett has survived the beast and has now reclaimed his distinctive Mandalorian armor.
Available in the Fortnite Item Shop now:
– Boba Fett Outfit with the Z-6 Jetpack Back Bling: A simple man making his way through the galaxy like his father before him.
Accessories:
– Gaffi Stick Pickaxe: Used by the Tusken Raiders on Tatooine, a planet Boba has spent much time on.
– Boba Fett’s Starship Glider: Boba Fett’s distinctive Firespray-class ship, inherited from his father Jango Fett.
– Targeting Computer Online Emote: Scan the horizon for your target.
All of these items will also be available in a bundle so you can grab the whole Boba Fett Set!
Unfortunately, the new Boba Fett skin isn’t a freebie for everyone in Fortnite – you’ll need V-Bucks to unlock him.
Specifically, the legendary bounty hunter will set you back 1,500 V-Bucks, or you can get a bundle featuring the skin and his Z-6 Jetpack Back Bling, Gaffi Stick Pickaxe, and Starship Glider for just 2,300 V-Bucks.
But what say you? Are you excited to get your mitts on the new Boba Fett skin in Fortnite? Or will you be giving it a wide berth? Avoid the Sarlacc Pit in the usual place down below to let us know.
