Today Compile Heart released another gameplay trailer of Azur Lane: Crosswave, while Yostar has provided news about the mobile game.

First of all, we get to take another look at the story mode of Azur Lane: Crosswave, with some map exploration that leads to finding a tech pack followed by an encounter with Kongou and Yamashiro at the airport.

You can watch it below.

On the Azur Lane mobile front, the Eglish servers are getting a retrofit for Achilles, which will be upgraded to Elite status and will get a new illustration and a new skill.

The Japanese seriers are also getting a cool Summer Festival event, which will unlock the Yukata skin for Juneau

It comes with brand new minigames including a shooting gallery, and a “gourmet street” one that prompts you to fulfill the snacking wishes of your secretary shipgirls.

Like they don’t eat too much already. At the moment it’s unknown when this event will come to the English server.

Azur Lane: Crosswave will launch on the Japanese shelves on August 29, 2019, for PS4. A western release has recently been announced for 2020.

The original Azur Lane game, is a free-to-play mobile horizontal scrolling shooter/RPG hybrid currently available for iOS and Android.
