Discrepancies in the western version of the Tokyo Game Show trailer of Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy caused fans to worry about possible censorship.

Luckily, the American arm of Koei Tecmo took to Twitter to reassure the fans, pledging that the game won’t be censored in the west.

Considering that the character design is one of the most relevant points that determined the success of the first game, it’s nice to hear that the charming work of Toridamono and Gust won’t receive any cuts in North America and Europe.

You can check out the tweet for yourself just below.

Japan will get Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy on PS5, PS4 and Switch on December 3 and PC in January 2021. At the moment, we don’t know when the western release will be besides a generic “winter,” but my bet is on January alongside the Steam release.

That being said, this is just my personal speculation, so take it with the usual grain of salt.
