Atelier Ryza 2 Reveals New Gameplay, Theme Song, Digital Deluxe Editions, & Inevitable Season Pass

Today, during a livestream from Japan, Koei Tecmo revealed new footage and details of its upcoming JRPG Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy.

We get to see a look at dungeon gameplay on top of plenty of costumes and even battle.

You can check both videos out below on top of the reveal of the theme song “Somewhen, Somewhere…” that came at the same time from the western arms of Koei Tecmo.

We also get the reveal of the Digital Deluxe edition which will include the “Another Style” costume set, the “Summer Memories” costume set, the “Kurken Island Gathering Tour,” the “Helpful Item Set,” and the “All You Need! Gem Pack” set, priced at 9,955 yen (which translates approximately into $95).

The Digital Deluxe with Season Pass edition was also announced for 14,465 yen (approximately $138). The Season Pass includes the inevitable “Swimsuit Costume” set, the “Recipe Expansion Pack,” the “Additional Map,” the “Ultra Difficulty Map,” and a BGM set.

This means that we can expect the season pass to be priced approximately at $40. It’ll also include a bonus in the form of a costume from Ryza from Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book.

The game will release in North America on January 26, 2020, and in Europe on Jan. 29 for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via SteamJapanese gamers will get the game a bit earlier (on Dec. 3) on PS5, PS4 and Switch.
