Where to Find Jeane in Every Level in Travis Strikes Again
If you’ve played a No More Heroes game before you should be familiar with Travis Touchdown’s feline friend, Jeane. If you haven’t, well, it’ll all seem a bit strange in Travis Strikes Again, but that’s just par for the course, right? Here’s where to find Jeane in every level in Travis Strikes Again.
After you’ve beaten the first two or so games Travis will get a fax from Jeane, telling him that she’s stuck in the game Electric Thunder Tiger II, and providing a cryptic hint to her whereabouts.
As it turns out, you’ll actually have to find her in five different games in the end.
Your reward for this will be a valuable skill chip that turns Travis, or Badman, invisible for a short period of time, or until you attack. The cat can be a bit tricky to find, but we’ll help walk you through the process.
Once you find Jeane in each level of Travis Strikes Again you don’t have to complete it. You can leave it right after finding the cat, and return to the trailer.
1. Electric Thunder Tiger II
Your hint for this one is that Jeane is in a “dark and wide-open place that’s really high up.” This is probably one of the harder ones to find in Travis Strikes Again, but if you think back, there’s a whole section where you’re running across a network of scaffolding.
That’s where you need to go. Spawn at toilet #001_02 and start making your way through the level, fighting all the enemies along the way.
Just keep going, be careful of the electric floors and exploding enemies, then when you reach a fork in the path go straight instead of left.
The next battle will open up two routes, and now take the left one and then take another left at the fork. Once you reach the room with rotating platforms, hit the first switch twice and then take a left and another left.
Hit the next switch twice, and then proceed north up to the exit.
Follow the electric floors, mopping up enemies along the way, until you reach a path that heads down south. Just follow that path to its end and you’ll reach Bugxtra and Jeane, the faithful feline. Now you can head on back.
2. Life Is Destroy
Once you finish Coffee & Doughnuts in Travis Strikes Again, Jean will send you another fax about being stuck in Life is Destroy. This time the hint is an abandoned house with bloodstains, and luckily that’s pretty easy to find.
Remember where you fought the mid-boss? Yep, that’s exactly where she is. Spawn in at toilet #002_05, head into the house, and head to the northeastern room. There she is.
3. Coffee & Doughnuts
The third fax from Jeane will come in after beating Golden Dragon GP in Travis Strikes Again. This hint says she’s in a large mansion that has terrible interior decorating.
As Coffee & Doughnuts is a bit different in terms of layout, just start from the beginning of the level.
At the start, go up the stairs to the left, following the path all the way down to an elevator. Take that up to third floor, then take one more elevator up to the fourth floor.
Head to your right and keep an eye out for room #404, it should be around the middle area of the floor. Head inside and you’ll see Jeane hanging out on the right.
4. Golden Dragon GP
Jeane’s hint for this one is brief, only mentioning a Japanese tatami floor. That’s not much to go on, and this one can be a bit tricky anyway.
As you might know, the floors in Golden Dragon GP can sport different layouts each time you visit them in Travis Strikes Again. When you start you’ll be able to choose from a few floors, but it seems like the best bet is the 64th floor.
No matter what you’ll want to make sure the door in front of you has three coins. If it has any other amount, you’ll want to leave the game completely, come back and restart the floor.
Once you’ve got the right room, head north into the next one. Beat the enemies then head through the northwest door. Finally, beat the groups in the next room and this time follow the door that opens up in the southwest.
The next room should be filled with coins and this is where you’ll find Jeane, however, she’ll be obscured by the wall. Simply head to the bottom of the room and search around until you see the prompt pop up to talk to her.
5. Serious Moonlight
The clue for this one will come to you immediately after you beat the level. Jeane, this time, will say she’s in a back alley past a fountain. If that sounds familiar it’s for good reason, as this is the area just before the final boss of Serious Moonlight.
Unfortunately, you’ll basically need to play through a good portion of the level again, but the closest place you can start is at toilet #006_03.
Make your way through the handful of battles, then to the maze of kiosks. Complete the requirements to open the gate, then head through to the Ramen Shop.
Once you’ve healed up head north and complete one more battle, then once the barriers disappear head northwest to the alley and find Jeane in the very top left corner. Boom, now you’re totally done.
Hopefully, that helps with where to find Jeanne in every level in Travis Strikes Again.
