There are a number of awesome ways you can take care of bad guys in Spider-Man PS4. There’s the obvious use of Spidey’s fists, his webslingers, grabbing and flinging items, and plenty, plenty more. As you zip around your surroundings, landing blow after blow on a swarm of enemies, you’ll probably be wanting to thin out the crowd that little bit quicker. Here’s what you need to know to perform a finisher in Spider-Man PS4, and exactly what it does.

First things first, let’s run through exactly what a finisher does within the game, in case the name hadn’t already given it away. When performed, a finisher will essentially wipe out any single enemy in one, awesome-looking attack.

To actually execute a finisher in Spider-Man PS4, you’ll first need to make sure that your Focus gauge (which is right underneath your health bar) is filled completely. It cannot be half-full like it can when you want to heal.

Once it is absolutely full, the game will alert you that it’s filled and you’ll likely see Triangle + Circle button prompts appearing above enemies.

This is a sign that you’re ready to pull off a finisher, so simply face the enemy you want to perform one on, and press the two buttons at the same time.

If you’ve done it correctly, Spidey will swiftly dispatch of the target, knocking them out of the fight. It’s a particularly handy move to have in your back pocket if you’re getting overwhelmed by enemies and need to quickly take care of one.

After the cutscene is finished, you’ll dive straight back into the action, so don’t take your hands off that controller!

That’s all you need to know to perform a finisher in Spider-Man PS4. For more tips, tricks, and guides on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding Spider-Man guide wiki. Here’s a small sampling of the guides we have in store for you.
