What Is Werewolf Rank in The Sims 4?

First, let’s establish what a werewolf rank is in The Sims 4 by explaining the tier system, which allows you to earn a title within your pack. Players can find a layout of levels, abilities, and learned traits when clicking on the mirror icon in the bottom right corner, as shown here:

There are five ranks you can earn throughout the Werewolves pack. Here’s a list of each one:

  • Rank 1: Pup
  • Rank 2: Runt
  • Rank 3: Prime
  • Rank 4: Veteran
  • Rank 5: Apex

The lowest rank, Pup, provides you with basic actions you can do as a werewolf, while Apex grants you the option to become the pack’s leader. Finally, those who want to start as the Alpha of the group can play as Kristopher Volkov, the current leader of Moonwood Collective.

How to Level Up Werewolf Rank

Now that you understand the premise of werewolf ranks, we can teach you how to rise up in levels once you’ve turned into the beast. The fastest way to do this is by performing werewolf-specific actions and simply staying in your beast form whenever possible. For example, howling is a straightforward method you can use while you are both human and beast.

Social interactions with other beastly Sims are at the core of raising your werewolf rank. For instance, you can select any talking options with a werewolf icon to increase your chances of going up a tier. These typical social exchanges include fighting with members of your pack, playing a game of Tug of War, and mentoring lower-rank werewolves.

There are still available options you can perform alone, such as taking a Wolf Nap and marking your territory (if you have accessed these specific skills in the Abilities menu.) Reading werewolf material can also be another easy method to use. If you do this enough, you may acquire the Dormant Ability, Lunar Epiphany, which provides you with a recipe on how to cure Werebies. After doing each of these actions, you’ll see a green werewolf symbol near your Sim, indicating an increase for the rank you desire, similar to learning a skill.
