Another week means there’s another set of weekly challenges arriving in Fortnite Season 9. Of course, once you’ve completed all of the week 5 challenges, you’ll then be given a loading screen, which hints at the location of a Secret Battle Star to help you level up your Battle Pass. Here’s where the Fortnite Season 9 week 5 Secret Battle Star location is, so you can get it easily.
Week 5 Loading Screen
As is always the case, the location of the Secret Battle Star – or in the case of even-numbered weeks in Season 9, a Fortbyte – is hinted at within the loading screen for that week. As such, you’re going to want to take a quick look at the loading screen once you’ve unlocked it to figure out where you’ll need to head to on the map.
We’ve included the loading screen down below.
While there’s plenty to take in in the week 5 loading screen, the main thing you want to focus on is the rim of the Slipstream ring in the background. Just on the right-hand side, you can see four sets of grid coordinates, so you can bet your bottom dollar you’re going to need to head here in order to track down the week 5 Secret Battle Star.

Where the Week 5 Secret Battle Star Location Is – B2, B3, C2, C3
As you probably spotted in the loading screen, the grid coordinates that are listed are B2, B3, C2, and C3. As such, you’re going to want to make your way to the point on your map where all of these grid points converge. We’ve marked it on the map above with a red dot, but in case you’re struggling to see the image, it’s on the east side of the mountain just east of Haunted Hills.
Once you head here, you’re looking out for the telltale dirt patch on the floor. It’s just east of the castle, too, but we’d advise perhaps heading up there and grabbing a weapon in case other players are hunting down the week 5 secret star at the same time as you and try and give you trouble.
Look for the wind turbine here and you’ll see a tree just to the west of it.
If you walk just around the other side of this tree from the wind turbine, you’ll find the week 5 secret star just waiting for you. You can see the dirt patch in the screenshot above, which we’ve placed our blue marker on.
