Skipping Cutscenes and Dialogue in Doom Eternal

Skipping cutscenes and dialogue in Doom Eternal is a fairly simple process once you’ve got the hang of it.

Once you’ve entered a cutscene or dialogue-heavy section, simply hold down the Square Button on PlayStation 4 or the X Button on Xbox One. Doing so will skip the cutscene after a bit of time passes to make sure you meant to hold down said button, and from there you’ll be set loose again to wreak havoc on Hell and its denizens.

Included below are the controls for each platform, just in case you need to reference it again at any point during your playthrough.

And that’s all there is to how to skip cutscenes really. Once you’ve got this memorized, you’ll be able to sprint through Doom Eternal as fast as you like, smashing through story elements with abandon and keeping your adrenaline levels at their maximum levels.
