Will God of War Ragnarok Have a Photo Mode?

Unfortunately, God of War Ragnarok does not have a Photo Mode. However, the development team, Santa Monica Studio, has confirmed that Photo Mode will be coming shortly after launch.

The revelation that there wouldn’t be a Photo Mode came from members of the gaming media who have received review copies. In response to one publication tweeting about the lack of a Photo Mode, Santa Monica Studio replied that one will come post-launch. While it is certainly disappointing that this feature is not launch-ready, this exact scenario unfolded in 2018. God of War launched without a Photo Mode, and a May 2018 update introduced the ability to capture in-game screenshots. It was extensive and created a ton of memorable shots, so the wait will certainly be worth it.

That’s all you need to know on whether God of War Ragnarok will have a Photo Mode. After much delay, Kratos and Atreus’s trek will resume on Nov. 9 for PS4 and PS5. If you haven’t already, be sure to familiarize yourself with the latest enemy and combatants trailer that details what to expect from combat, a story trailer that shows off the new DualSense controller, and when preloads will go live for the next big adventure.

I love almost every type of video game, and when I'm not playing them, I'm writing about them... a lot. I have too many favorites to list so feel free to ask about them! Long live Ugly Sonic and the Resident Evil 3 Remake (this is a meme btw).
