The new season of Destiny 2 is finally underway, which means that there’s brand new content for you to work through and new items to unlock. One of the new items you can get is the Trinity Ghoul Exotic Catalyst. So that you can take advantage of the benefits it offers, here’s everything you need to know about how to get the Trinity Ghoul Exotic Catalyst in Destiny 2 and what it does.
It works in a similar way to other catalysts in the game, in that it allows you to alter a perk to improve it.
How to Get Trinity Ghoul Exotic Catalyst in Destiny 2
You should be able to find it as a drop from Strike, Crucible, or Gambit playlist activities.
Once you’ve found it, you’ll need to complete a grind and you can see your progress by inspecting it and checking the bar in the catalyst slot on the weapon.
Thankfully, activating the Trinity Ghoul Exotic Catalyst is simple but time consuming. You just need to keep killing enemies until you’ve filled up the bar in the catalyst section.
We don’t know how many enemies you’ll have to kill just yet but it’ll no doubt take quite a while. For other catalysts and weapons, the requirement has been between around 500 give or take, but it could realistically be anything here.
Once you’ve filled up the progress bar, the catalyst will be active and you’ll be able to take advantage of the bonus effect it offers.
What It Does
What the Trinity Ghoul Exotic Catalyst does is alter the exotic perk, Lightning Rod, to trigger on any final blow, rather than just on precision kills, which makes it very easy to keep chain lightning attacks.
It also increases the draw and reload stat, boosting the DPS to even higher levels as you rattle off chain lighting much faster.
That’s everything you need to know about how to get the Trinity Ghoul Exotic Catalyst in Destiny 2 and what it does. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our wiki guide or search for Twinfinite.
