Hideo Kojima’s latest title has arrived on PlayStation 4. Starring Norman Reedus, Guillermo Del Toro, Léa Seydoux, Lindsey Wagner and plenty more, Death Stranding sees players trying to reconnect the last few cities across the USA together to save mankind once and for all. For the most part, that largely sees the protagonist (played by Reedus), delivering packages. Death Stranding New Game Plus – What You Need to Know

Unfortunately, Death Stranding doesn’t have a new game plus option. While this may come as disappointing news to some fans hoping to dive into Kojima’s latest adventure all over again the moment the credits roll for a tougher experience, it’s not all doom and gloom.

First, Death Stranding is a pretty giant experience on its own. Completing a single playthrough will likely take you over 50 hours, especially if you engage in the variety of side content that’s been scattered throughout the game.

Furthermore, it’s not worth getting yourself all disheartened yet. New game plus could always come to the game as part of a post-launch update. This has already happened a number of times this year with the likes of Control and Days Gone just to name a couple.

For now, though, there’s no way for players to replay or restart any of Death Stranding’s 14 different chapters or ‘episodes.’ You’ll just have to cross your fingers and hope that Kojima Productions has something up their sleeve for new game plus a little further down the line.
