Is Crunchyroll Down Right Now?

As of 10:50 AM ET on Jan. 23, Crunchyroll is experiencing some issues. These don’t seem too widespread, but comments on the Downdetector page mention server issues and the main website not loading. I got the site to load, but it was very slow, so I am unsure if trying to watch something would be successful. Others are commenting that the service has returned, so this might have just been a hiccup.

Either way, it might be wise to wait a little bit because it’s unclear if everything has fully recovered from whatever went wrong.

As you might expect, Crunchyroll hasn’t spoken up about any issues on Twitter, so it’s hard to say how aware they are of any problems. So far, the only tweets made recently are about One Piece and Demon Slayer.
