Cris Tales, a love letter to colorful RPGs of yesteryear, with a modern feel, has finally released on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC. The game’s art style really pops and the game is regularly a feast for the eyes. Like many RPGs, though, there’s plenty to do, see, and grind for. So if you’re here, you’re probably wondering how long Cris Tales takes to beat? Is it a quicker RPG, or a long epic? Here’s what you need to know.
How Long Cris Tales Takes to Beat
Let’s cut right to the chase. To answer the question we posed above, Cris Tales is kind of… a medium-sized RPG if we had to put a label on it. It’s not super long, but it’s also not quick either.
Most players will find that their run-time will run somewhere between 20 to 30 hours. If you blast through everything, ignoring side quests, you can probably complete the game closer to the 20-hour mark.
If you, however, take your time, explore, and complete as many side quests as possible, you’ll find yourself easily approaching 30 hours or even exceeding it.
There’s a good amount to see and do in Cris Tales. Towns are filled with interesting characters that you might feel compelled to help out in order to create a brighter future. Dungeons are also often complex and have many different paths for you to explore for treasures.
In addition, Cris Tales has random battles and as a result, even if you’re trying to rush through, you might find that you’re being sucked into battles often and that will keep the game clock running,
That’s all you need to know for how long Cris Tales takes to beat. Check out more of our recent coverage of this colorful RPG from Modus right here.
