No More Heroes III Arrives On Switch This August; Travis Fights Aliens in New Trailer

Today during a massive 50-minute Nintendo Direct that saw the reveal of new Smash characters and the arrival of Fall Guys onto the Switch, Grasshopper also stopped in to show off the latest No More Heroes III trailer and announce its release date.

No More Heroes III will release on Switch on Aug. 27. Check out the new trailer below.

Aliens have shown up, leveled a city to demonstrate strength, and are going to be engaging in a DBZ-style tournament to decide the fate of Earth. Of course Travis is our champion.

Of course, because it’s No More Heroes, you’ll need to do odd jobs like mow lawns to earn money to pay the entry fees. Clearly the irrerevant humor the series is known for isn’t going anywhere.

Like Travis Strikes Again, No More Heroes III also looks to continue to experiment with zany gameplay ideas and genre-mixing as the trailer shows off a Final Fantasy-like battle menu in one of the boss fights.

We’ll see how it turns out this summer. Travis Strikes Again is available now on the Switch in case you wanted an appetizer before the main event later on. You can read our review right here.
