PS5 is the best-selling hardware in the month for dollar sales, while the Nintendo Switch won unit sales. Sony’s new console broke the record for the biggest launch month in the history of the United States both for revenue and units, beating the previous record-holder, which was the PS4.

This is quite impressive considering the reports of supply constraints that affected the PS5, and certainly bodes well for the future of the console.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was November’s best-selling game and instantly became the best-selling game of the whole year.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla ranked second, achieving the highest debut sales for an Assassin’s Creed game since III in 2012.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales ranked third overall, while it beat Assassin’s Creed on PlayStation.

It was the second-highest selling debut for superhero games on PlayStation, following the original Marvel’s spider-man.

Below you can find all the relevant rankings for November best sellers, best-sellers in 2020, and rolling twelve-months.

If you’d like to compare, you can also check out the results for October, shared by Piscatella himself last month.

Proud weeb hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long-standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
