This video shows off two new characters that players are tasked with assassinating before the day is over and before another assassin known as Julianna stops them.

Have a look at the video below.

Deathloop’s first gameplay video was revealed during a previous PS5 event which featured certain fancy skills and abilities the player will encounter throughout the story.

For those of you that don’t know much about this title, Deathloop is being developed by Arkane Studios, the devs behind the Dishonored series.

Deathloop is a first person action game that centers around a never-ending conflict between two assassins. Set on an island known as Blackreef, one of the assassins, known as Colt, is tasked with killing key targets to break a repetitive loop he’s stuck in. The other assassin, Julianna is meant to keep this from happening.

After a set amount of time or if he dies, each day is reset and Colt is forced to begin his tasks again which explains the title “Deathloop”. Players are meant to learn from their failings and from what they’ve experienced during each day’s reset.

Deathloop was originally revealed last year during Bethesda’s E3 conference and, due to COVID-19, its release date was pushed back to Q2 2021.

This newest gameplay video reiterates the Q2 2021 release date. However, Deathloop is still set to release for PC and next-gen consoles.
