Developed by Serenity Forge and published by Way Down Deep, Date Night Bowling will be heading to PC via Steam in early 2021. The new indie title was revealed earlier today during the Wholesome Snack indie game showcase alongside an announcement trailer, which you can view below.
The game has bowling of course, but there are also some quirky mini-games that can help you win over your date, such as giving them a massage or winning them a prize from a crane machine.
It’s half dating sim, half bowling and that’s something you don’t see every day.
Date Night Bowling is out on PC early next year. Here’s a short description from its Steam page:
Out at your local bowling alley for a dating event, strike up a conversation, hop over to the bowling lanes, and try your best to make a good first impression. Play things right and you might just find your soulmate! To win over your date, you’ll rely not only on your bowling skills, but also on your ability to tell well-timed jokes, throw popcorn into their mouth, give the perfect shoulder rub, and more!
Grab a drink, slip on the shoes, and let the romance begin! Choose your perfect date-night bowling experience from a variety of customizable options.
Also announced during the Wholesome Snack indie game showcase was another title that’s coming from Serenity Forge titled Land of Screens.
It’s coming to Steam sometime in 2021 and centers on a young woman named Holland who has gone through a bad breakup, which then pushes her to get rid of her cell phone.
She’s tired and stressed out from social media and decides to take a road trip, and she meets some new friends on her journey that help her realize that not everything is about followers and likes.
