Druckmann took to Twitter to talk about the animation team at the studio, mentioning that Naughty Dog can count on one of the best if not the best in the industry, both in technical knowledge and raw animation skill. He also added that he’s still “blown away” by the quality of the animation in Last of Us Part II.

Shortly after, Druckmann also paid homage to the members of the production team (I.E. the game’s producers), calling them “unsung heroes” of TLOU2, adding that the game wouldn’t be the same without them, who “wrangled a complex schedule, and facilitated valuable communication.”

Druckmann’s comments were echoed by lead animator Almudena Soria and producer Jennifer Jessee.
