The new character is the beautiful Metera, a bow user who is extremely popular among fans of the original mobile game.

You can check her out in action below. One thing is for sure: she looks gorgeous in 3D, rendered within Granblue Fantasy Versus’ engine.

If you’d like to learn more about Granblue Fantasy Versus, you can read my recent hands-on preview and our interview with Director Tetsuya Fukuhara.

You can also check out the previous trailer revealing the RPG Mode, a few screenshots from a few weeks ago, another trailer revealing Percival and his first gameplay, another video announcing the previous character Ladiva, and the video that came before featuring Lowain.

Granblue Fantasy Versus will release on February 6, 2020, exclusively for PS4.

Incidentally, the original Granblue Fantasy mobile game is available for iOS, Android, and PC via browsers. If you want to give it a try to prepare for the release of Granblue Fantasy Versus, you can read my detailed guide on how to create an account, install the game, and play in English.
