The first episode of the game will launch on PS4 on March 3, 2020.

Alongside the reveal, we also got a trailer, which you can watch below. It shows a mix of cutscenes and gameplay from the very beginning of the game.

Unfortunately, Tifa still doesn’t appear in the trailer, but this isn’t too surprising considering that Square Enix needs to hold something in its hand for its E3 press conference, which will happen tomorrow. It’ll be interesting to see what will be revealed then, but Director Tetsuya Nomura did mention on stage at the concert that more is coming.

This isn’t the only reveal made at a concert by Square Enix. Not only the publisher has a history of doing so, but yesterday they showcased the DLC coming for Kingdom Hearts III for the first time at the orchestra concert dedicated to the game. Looks like at the house of Final Fantasy they really do like concerts.

Of course, you should also check out the previous reveal of the game, happened just a few weeks ago.
