Today Sony Interactive Entertainment released a new video of the upcoming open-world adventure game Days Gone.

The video brings you inside the studio based in Bend, Oregon, as the developers talk about the process that brought to the creation of the new game.

We learn that when they started they had about 40-50 developers, but now the studio’s headcount has grown to roughly 130 people, which is still smaller than you’d expect.

We also hear that many within the studio embraced biker culture and that a single engineer spearheaded the creation of the freaker horde, which displays 500 creatures on the screen at the same time.

You can watch the trailer below.

If you want to see more about the game, you can enjoy the latest TV commercial, a recent story trailer, another video showing off protagonist Deacon St. John’s tragic wedding, some screenshots featuring his love story with Sarah Whitaker, another trailer showing off more of the terrifying freakers, and some gameplay from Taipei Game Show.

Recently, Sony revealed the advanced photo mode that we will be able to enjoy while traveling the game’s massive open world.

Days Gone will release exclusively for PS4 on April 26, 2019.
