Persona 5 R Likely to Be Revealed at Sega Fes 2019 With More Games by Sega

When Atlus teased Persona 5 R last month, the announcement mentioned that it would be revealed in March. Today Sega announced the event that is likely to play host to the reveal, Sega Fes 2019.

Serga Fes will be hosted by the house of Sonic on Saturday, March 30, and Sunday, March 31st at the popular Bellesalle venue in Akihabara.

The event is posed to “bring together all the power of the Sega group” and it will include a variety of content centered on the theme “Amazing” sega.

All the branches of the publisher will be involved, including Atlus, and they will be bringing “surprises,” “smiles,” and “emotional experiences” to customers.

While a specific schedule has not been revealed just yet, If last year’s Sega Fes is any indication, there should be announcements aplenty across multiple stage shows.

Another returning attraction is the “Giant UFO Catcher” which was a hit with attendees in 2018 and will return with an improved design this year.

At the moment, we know very little about the nature of Persona 5 R. All we are aware of is that it’ll be on a PlayStation platform (but might not be exclusive). We don’t even know if it’s one game or multiple.

On top of this, we might hear about the new mainline Yakuza game code named Shin Yakuza, featuring new protagonist Ichiban Kasuga.

Hopefully, we will also be able to get the first look at the new Sakura Wars game in development by Valkyria Chronicles’ team. It would make sense considering that it was teased at Sega Fes 2018.
