The release of Square Enix’s Left Alive is coming closer and closer, and the publisher has been showcasing new images on Twitter.

First of all, we get to see some really lovely art of one of the three protagonists, Mikhail Alexandrovich Shuvalov, designed by super-talented Metal Gear Solid Artist Yoji Shinkawa.

The second image includes a super-cute super-deformed look at the three protagonists drawn by Art Director Yuya Ishihata. His name may be less known than Shinkawa-san’s, but he is another Metal Gear Solid veteran who worked on Peace Walker, Ground Zeroes, and The Phantom Pain.

Thirdly, we get to see rather festive screenshot from the game. Looks like the invasion of Novoslava is going to happen around the Christmas period.

Last, but not least, we get two messages from the men at the top of the project.

Director Toshifumi Nabeshima writes that we’re just two months before launch and there are many things that he has not yet talked about even if there is little time left. That’s why he will provide more info going forward.

Producer Shinji Hashimoto mentions that the development team is waiting for the players on the cold battlefield, but we shouldn’t rush it, and be careful with every action. We’re going to be left alive, can we survive?

You can check them all out below.

You can also watch the most recent gameplay trailer,  some more footage, alongside a gallery with many screenshots and additional information.

Left Alive will launch in Japan on Feb. 28, 2019, for PS4 and PC, and it’ll come west on March 5 for the same platforms.
