The stakes are raised in the latest trailer for Spider-Man’s next DLC Turf Wars, with the villain Hammerhead ready to lay waste to New York.
Streamed through the PlayStation official YouTube channel on Nov. 13, the trailer focuses on Hammerhead and his gang as they speak of what’s to come in their bid to reclaim control of the criminal underworld. Hammerhead himself chides Yuri Watanabe and her men when they have seemingly been captured after a failed raid, and paints a picture of the chaos that is about to be unleashed on the city.
The trailer then gives a glimpse of what players can expect from the Maggia as they become more bold in their attacks. In addition to the heavy machine gunners and typical thugs from the last DLC, several enemies will now have greater access to Sable mercenary equipment including jetpacks and beam weapons. Players will have to stay agile and utilize their web gadgets to their utmost potential to take them on and, eventually, challenge Hammerhead.

The second DLC made for Spider-Man since its launch on Sept. 7, Turf Wars takes place immediately after the events of the game’s first DLC, The Heist. Each DLC contains part of a continuing narrative about the revival of the Maggia crime families, and how Spider-Man must team up with allies new and old to restore peace to New York.
A total of three DLCs are planned for release, with the final episode Silver Lining slated for release sometime in December.
Spider-Man: Turf Wars is set for release exclusively on PlayStation 4 on Nov. 20. For more on all things Spider-Man, check out our list of six iconic suits that should be added to the game as well as our feature on how big Spider-Man’s map is in comparison to the real Manhattan.
