How to Get More Crafting Materials in Fallout 76
Bethesda Game Studios’Â latest release Fallout 76 is a huge change in the typical Bethesda formula. With an entirely multiplayer focused Fallout game, Fallout 76 is heading into uncharted territory for Bethesda.
This shift towards multiplayer means Bethesda had to change their gameplay systems to accommodate for multiple players and how to give this game replayability.
Gaining crafting materials in Fallout 76 is what you will be spending a large chunk of your time doing. Exploring, following quest lines, and defeating monsters will all aid you on your goal to gathering materials to further craft better gear, weapons, and armor in Fallout 76.
How to Get Crafting Materials
To obtain crafting materials players need to simply pick up everything they can find in the world and scrap any of the junk at a workbench. You can check to perks list for any perks that give you extra material from scrapping junk at the workbench.
Workbenches can be found at your CAMP once you’ve built them, and this is really the easiest way to find them. They can of course be found out and about, but once you’ve built one for yourself, you’ll always know where to find it.
CAMP stands for Construction and Assembly Mobile Platform, which is you main source of operation in this new wasteland. Your camp is the center of everything in Fallout 76. It is where you will scrap, craft, and live with ease while inside the world of Fallout 76.
What They’re Used For
Once you’ve scraped all of your junk at a work bench it will be turned into a usable resource that can be crafted into many different things. Junk will turn into items like wood, screws, steel, springs, and more.
Resources like those can be used to repair weapons and armor, or for building better things around your home. This is the main gameplay loop of Fallout 76: explore, collect resources, return to CAMP, craft, and repeat.
How to Get More Crafting Materials Easily
Another way to get large amounts a material in Fallout 76 is to travel to train stations or other similar spots on the map. These areas contain vendors that will sell you Bulk Adhesive and Aluminum for a hefty sum of money, but they will net you tons of resources when brought back to your CAMP.
This is a great way to turn your money into resources when you’re running low.
