Ubisoft’s pirate game, Skull and Bones, has arrived! The open beta period has ended and the full game is almost here, with early access on the horizon. Here is our guide on the release time for Skull and Bones early access.
Skull and Bones Early Access Release Time Countdown
The release date for Skull and Bones is scheduled for February 16. However, early access lands three days early, on February 13. Early access is available only for players who buy the Premium Edition of Skull and Bones. This is when it begins:
While Ubisoft has yet to provide a specific release time for the early access and regular versions of Skull and Boens, it’ll likely be around midnight local time. This is usually the case for new game releases. That said, Skull and Bones is a live service title, so a standardized release would make sense to instantly populate the servers. Once we know for sure, we’ll update this guide.
The first Ubisoft pirate game since Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was planned to be an expansion of this famous game from the AC franchise. Development started back in 2013, but four years later in 2017, Ubisoft decided to develop Skull and Bones as a separate game.
If you played Skull & Bones during the open beta and then chose to buy the game, don’t worry about losing progress. Your campaign progress and unlocked rewards are safe. But keep in mind that Infamy Points earned after Infamy Brigand won’t stay around after the full release.
That’s all you need to know about the release time of Skull and Bones. The waiting time is almost over. Sharpen your swords, put on your eyepatch, and get ready for the pirate life!
