Best Lethal Company Mods

How to Install Mods for Lethal Company

The best method is to use either r2modman or the Thunderstore Overwolf App. They look basically the same and give you a convenient UI where you can easily browse and install Lethal Company mods.

While in one of these apps, just search for Lethal Company, select it as the game you want to mod, and browse to your heart’s content. One rule for you to follow is that whenever you decide to add a new mod, make sure to download it with all of its dependencies. Otherwise, it won’t work.

If you want to install them manually, which I don’t advise, first download these two: LC API and BepinEX. They are a prerequisite for every Lethal Company mod and are best downloaded right at the start. Here is how to install them:

  • Click on Manual Download on the pages of both of these mods.
  • Open the Lethal Company root folder by opening Steam – Right-click on Lethal Company in your library – ManageBrowse Local Files.
  • Install the BepinEX by unzipping it, then opening the BepinExPack folder and copying everything to the Lethal Company root directory.
  • Install the LC API by extracting the BepinEx directory to the game’s root folder.

Best Mods for Lethal Company You Can Download Right Now

Considering how new the game is, it’s amazing how quickly an API for developing mods has been created and how committed the community is. Below is a list of some of the best currently available mods.

BiggerLobby by bizzlemip

The first thing most players noticed after playing the game was that it would be so much more fun with more players. BiggerLobby increases the lobby max player limit from the default four to forty.

If there is any mod you should try, it’s this one. We also have a guide on how to install it if you encounter any trouble.

HDLethalCompany by Sligili

HDLethalCompany is my personal favorite since it makes the game actually look decent. It adds antialiasing, increases the resolution from the default 860×520, enables different post-processing features, and much more. It’s a must-try for anyone who has issues with the game’s graphics.

FOV Adjust by Rozebud

Lethal Company’s default FoV is set to 66, but thankfully, you can change it using the FOV Adjust mod. The max value is 130, and you can see what that looks like in the image above. I’ve played with it around and figured out that values between 85 and 90 feel the best.

Have you ever gotten frustrated or impatient while waiting for that last teammate to join your crew and wished you could just start an expedition and have them join mid-match? Well, the LateCompany mod solves that problem for you.

With this mod installed, players can hop into your lobby even after the game has started, cutting down on waiting time.

More Suits by x753

For folks hoping for a bit more cosmetic customization in the game, the More Suits mod should be right up your alley. This mod allows you to add new suits to the store via the Terminal, and you can even customize them to add effects like emission to really make them pop.

ShipLoot by Raqzas

This mod, available on Nexus Mods, reliably displays the total scrap value on the ship. The fact that if you want to scan the entire loot at once you have to position yourself just right can be frustrating.

That’s why this mod was created – because it introduces a small new counter below the usual scrap tool and it will always show you the exact scrap total you currently possess.

Helmet Cameras by RickArg

With this mod, players get helmet cameras that display video on the second large monitor on the ship. Those who’ve downloaded it from Nexus Mods say that it gives you a better CameraMan/ShipGuy/Operator experience.

There are multiple new features you will get if you decide to install this mod for Lethal Company.

  • Helmet Cameras for more than 4 players;
  • Displays videos from helmet cameras to a second large monitor on the ship;
  • Config setting for render distance;
  • Config setting for FPS of a helmet camera;
  • Synced videos on the monitor for all players.

When Will More Mods for Lethal Company Come Out?

Lethal Company is still in early access, and there is no workshop yet available. The developer still hasn’t revealed his plans for implementing modding support through Steam, which leaves a lot of players wondering if it will even be added.

In any case, it’s best you use the Thunderstore for now. It has a lot of great mods available, and not only for Lethal Company, so do give them a try.

Hopefully, this list of best mods for Lethal Company saved you some time searching. Hey, don’t forget to meet your quotas, okay? Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game, including a list of all Terminal commands and all Scrap types.
