Lifeweaver is the newest upcoming Overwatch Hero, set to join the Support roster on April 11, 2023, alongside the launch of Season 4. While Lifeweaver will be added to the game, he won’t be available to access from the beginning, which may leave you wondering at what point you can unlock him for yourself. Don’t worry; we’ve got all the information you’ll need to add him to your Hero pool. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get Lifeweaver in Overwatch 2.
How to Unlock Lifeweaver in Overwatch 2, Explained
Lifeweaver will be incorporated into the game upon the scheduled update and release date for Season 4 on April 11, 2023. However, despite being added to the game at this time, he won’t be available for every player to select and use from the very beginning of the Season. There is no way to pre-obtain Lifeweaver or unlock him early before Season 4’s launch, so players must wait until this stage to get their hands on the floral-themed Thai Hero.
Once he arrives on April 11, Lifeweaver should follow the same route as the previous Hero Releases of Kiriko and Ramattra regarding unlocking the character for you to select and play during Quick Play and Competitive matches.
Based on the assumption that Lifeweaver will follow these guidelines, he will be available for players to unlock instantly by purchasing the Premium Battle Pass. Lifeweaver will be unlocked at Tier 45 of the free Battle Pass for players who do not choose to buy the Premium upgrade.
If you cannot play during Overwatch 2’s Season 4 or fail to reach Tier 45, you can still unlock Lifeweaver in Season 5 by completing his Hero Challenges. This means that one way or another, every player will have the chance to acquire Lifeweaver in time.
