Who Has Died So Far in Season One?

Here are the characters who died in season 1:

  • Finrod – Galadriel’s brother who died hunting Sauron.
  • Revion and Medhor – Elves who were captives of Adar and died trying to escape with Arondir.
  • Tamar – Provoked Halbrand and didn’t live to regret it.
  • Eamon and Abigail – Raft riders killed by a sea monster.
  • Rowan – The young man that Waldreg kills to serve Adar.
  • Ontamo – Isildur’s friend who didn’t survive the eruption of Mount Doom.
  • King Palantir – The King of Numenor dies right at the end of season 1, after he was bedridden for years.
  • The Dweller, The Ascetic, and The Nomad – The Stranger destroys the white robed people with magic in the finale and their bodies turn into moths and fly away.
  • Sadoc – The harfoot trail-finder dies at peace with the world after taking a knife throw to the gut.

Which Rings of Power Character’s Death Is the Most Memorable?

Finrod’s death is the most memorable because he goes down fighting evil. Revion and Medhor resisted their Orc captors, but both their deaths are underhanded, depriving them of choosing their own fates. Galadriel’s brother decides that hunting Sauron should be his life’s mission and commits. Another reason why Finrod’s death is the most memorable is because the Elves honor him by carving his likeness into a tree. Sadly, the other characters die with no ceremony and no closure for their families.
