When Does Star Wars: Andor Release? Disney+ Streaming Date Guide

When does Andor release?

Curious as to when Star Wars: Andor releases for Disney+? Well, wonder no more, as we’ve got all the info you need regarding the newest television series coming to the sci-fi universe right here. So without further ado, let’s dive right into the guide.

Star Wars: Andor Release Date

In a brand new teaser trailer for the show, which you can see above, Disney+ revealed that Star Wars: Andor will begin streaming on Aug. 31, 2022. Unfortunately, a recent development has revealed that the show’s debut has been delayed until Sept. 21, 2022 with the first three episodes – subsequent chapters will feature one release a week.

According to Deadline, Star Wars: Andor is already confirmed for two 12-episode seasons, making for a total of 24 episodes confirmed so far.

Andor is expanding its initial first season 12-episode run to 24 episodes with an unsurprising second season. Showrunner Tony Gilroy said today that the series will be back in front on the cameras in November for a Part 2. “We’re going to rewind 5 years back from Rogue One, Gilmore told fans onstage Thursday. “We’ve already shot 12 episodes!”

There isn’t a confirmation as to the runtime of each episode, but if it follows The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, then each could run anywhere from 20 mins to 1 hour.

That is everything you need to know about when Star Wars: Andor releases on Disney+. If you’re still on the hunt for more info about the show, be sure to check out the rest of Twinfinite to see the rest of our guides, which have plenty of tips, tricks, and FAQs.
