Phasmophobia was released via Steam early access back in 2020, and quickly became a big Halloween hit thanks to its innovative structure and genuinely creepy ghosts. There are tons of gadgets to make use of while trying to identify the ghost you’re dealing with, and the Spirit Box is still one of the most useful tools you have at your disposal. Here’s a list of all the Spirit Box questions and phrases you can use in Phasmophobia to help you get ahead.

This is by no means an exhaustive list, as the ghosts in Phasmophobia can also respond to variations of the questions and phrases we’ve listed above. As long as you’re asking the ghost to do something or to answer simple questions like where they are or how old they are, you should be able to get a response as long as they’re near you.

One thing to note is that you can also try to trigger a response simply by saying the ghost’s name over and over again. The name will be on the whiteboard when you first start a level, but be warned that using the ghost’s name is likely to anger it and force it to go into hunting mode.

That’s all you need to know about what questions and phrases you can use with the Spirit Box in Phasmophobia. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
