Deep Rock Galactic Gets New Cosmetic DLC for Upcoming Season 2

Online cooperative multiplayer game Deep Rock Galactic will be receiving another downloadable content pack of cosmetic skins alongside the game’s second season when it goes live at the end of the month, developer Ghost Ship Games revealed today.

The Robot Rebellion Pack gives players four sets of unique armor with one for each class and a helmet with two variants with either full or half. The paid DLC also comes with a paintjob for other armor sets, weapons, your pickaxe, and single-player robot buddy Bosco. No price has been revealed yet, but can check out the skins in the trailer below.

The DLC will launch alongside Deep Rock Galactic’s Season 2, which begins on April 28 for Steam on PC and May 5 for consoles and the Microsoft Store version. The developer confirmed the date after releasing a teaser image last month that hid the date within the picture.

Season 2 will bring another “Performance Pass” of unlockable cosmetic items that will be free for all players. The developer said that players will still be able to earn past season items after it ends, but will reveal how soon. Season 2 will also add four new secondary weapons, one for each class. In the meantime, the game is holding its Easter event called The Great Egg Hunt, and features a new assignment that offers two holiday themed hats to earn after completing it.

Deep Rock Galactic is now available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, and recently launched for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
