Developer Young Horses announced that Bugsnax would be coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10, and Steam on April 28. The new versions of the game will cost $24.99 with a 20% discount, though it will also be available on Xbox Game Pass across PC, consoles, and the cloud on day one.

Bugsnax originally launched in late 2020 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and the Epic Games Launcher on PC. It was exclusive to the platforms, and PlayStation Plus subscribers were able to claim the game at launch.

The new versions will be releasing alongside a free update called The Isle of Bigsnax, and will be available on all platforms as teased yesterday. The update adds a new island crawling with giant Bugsnax to explore, and the developer said it should take players around three to four hours to complete. The main game will also receive new features with the update including a new mail quest, wearable hats for your Bugsnax, and a personal hut to store items and customize with decorations.

Bugsnax and its free update The Isle of Bigsnax will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and across PC on April 28.
