Today Capcom opened a teaser website with a seven-day countdown, teasing a reveal of some kind.
The countdown is expected to expire on February 21 at 1:00 AM EST or 6:00 AM GMT depending on where you live.
At the moment, there are absolutely no hints to the nature of the announcement, but it’s very likely that it’s about a new game, unless Capcom is trolling us all.
There are certainly plenty of possibility, including a new Street Fighter game since Street Fighter V has comcluded its last season.
There is also the possibility of seeing the publisher revisit the Dragon’s Dogma franchise, and Devil May Cry V Hideaki Itsuno has been working on a new game which has made progress in 2021 according to his own tweeets (of course, there’s always the chance that Itsuno-san’s new game is a new Dragon’s Dogma.
Of course, this is all personal speculation, so you should take it with the customary grain of salt. If the choice was mine to make, that count down would reveal the Rival Schools logo for the much awaited return of the anime-like fighting franchise. A man can dream.
Of course, you’ll be able to read all about the reveal here on Twinfinite as soon as Capcom announces it officially, but for now we’ll have to wait.
